This slide deck offers a template for MSE developers to present results from any MSE process, including plots generated through the Slick Shiny App. These templates provide a uniform way for scientists and developers to report their results, allowing for communication to managers and other stakeholders.

The slide desk contains four major sections for use by scientists when presenting their results to a general audience, including:

  • Introductory explanations of harvest strategies-related concepts, such as “MSE Explained,” “A Brief Overview of Harvest Strategies, “Harvest Strategies in Development,” “Roles and Responsibilities,” “Benefits of Harvest Strategies,” and “Benefits of MSE.”
  • Summary of central MSE components (to be customized for individual MSEs), outlining management objectives, performance metrics, operating models, candidate harvest strategies, and tuning standards.
  • Template versions of all data visualization tools plots, available here.
  • Outline of additional steps/ components needed to develop a harvest strategy, including “Key Results,” “Exceptional Circumstances,” and “Next Steps”
