This animation presents what harvest strategies are and how they are developed to achieve a long-term vision for a fish population and the fisheries that target it.

Good fisheries management provides the benefits of fishing, without compromising aquatic habitats and fish stocks. Fisheries Queensland is working with all stakeholders to develop harvest strategies for all fisheries by 2020, and hopes to further educate all through this video.
